Chevy Racing Legend Is Born Back

Some time ago, precisely at the New York Auto Show, Chevrolet gave a sweet surprise. They regenerates Camaro Z/28.

Just a flashback, Z/28 Camaro first rolled in 1967. This car is the most symbolic car Camaro in history. At that time the Camaro Z/28 was designed as a model of a car to be driven on the circuit to compete in the Trans-Am 2 class at the Sports Car Club America.

"As the most powerful race cars, this car restore the original mission of the Z/28, and as evidence of the ability of Chevrolet as the performance of the best-selling car brand," said CEO of GM North America Mark Reuss.

Beneath the hood there is a petrol engine with a capacity of 7.0 liter V8 LS7 named.

Intake and exhaust system it has been specifically modified to generate power to 500 ps and maximum torque of 65 kgm exceeded.

With the use of spare parts and proper assembly makes the machine can reach redline at 7,000 rpm.

While the transmission is a Tremec TR6060 manual transmission 6-speed that is optimized to suit the character of the machine.
